Dr. Henry Randazzo, D.V.M.
Veterinarian
Dr. Randazzo is from Louisiana and went to Louisiana State University before entering Veterinary School at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Randazzo graduated from OSU in 1968. He practiced in Manhattan Beach for more than 20 years before coming to the Desert 12 years ago. Dr. Randazzo enjoys golf, exercising, polo and fly-fishing. He has two adult children, Park & Whitney, and daughter Kathryn in high school.
Dr. Eric Jackman, D.V.M.
Veterinarian
Dr. Jackman graduated from Colorado State University in 1990. He has had extensive Post Doctorate Training in Orthopedic Surgery & Ultra Sonography. Dr. Jackman has practiced in the Coachella Valley for 13 years and enjoys all facets of Veterinary Medicine. He enjoys fly-fishing, running marathons and spending time with his family. Dr. Jackman is married and has 3 children. He belongs to AVMA & SCVMA.
Dr. Byron B. Emswiller, D.V.M., M.B.A., J.D.
Veterinarian
Dr. Emswiller is a graduate of Purdue University in Veterinary Medicine, Nova University with a Masters in Business Administration and New England School of Law with a Law Degree. Dr. Emswiller has practiced General Veterinary Medicine for 31 years, 18 of these years at three of his own facilities in Palm Beach, Florida. In addition to working with Ringling Circus Animal in Sarasota Florida; managing hospitals in Boston, MA., Indianapolis, IN, Thousand Oaks and Ventura, CA; he has spent 7 years in the Coachella Valley. Dr. Emswiller is an avid golfer and hiker.
Dr. John S. Howarth, D.V.M
Veterinarian
Dr. Howarth graduated in 1968 from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He then spent 2 years as a Captain in the U.S. Army, which included a year in Chicago, Illinois and Vietnam. Dr. Howarth has practiced in Southern California since 1970 and the Coachella Valley since 1993. Dr. Howarth enjoys working on Jeeps and exploring the Desert. He also has a passion for riding his motorcycle. Dr. Howarth has 2 children; a daughter in Orange County with 2 young children, and his son Travis who graduated from Veterinary School in 2003. Dr. Howarth belongs to the AVMA.
Dr. Laura Huston, D.V.M.
Veterinarian
Dr. Huston grew up in Connecticut and graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grafton, MA in 1990. After graduating she worked in large and small animal practice. Dr. Huston continued her education for an additional 2 years as an intern at Kansas State University in the veterinary department of surgery & medicine which led her to an instructorship position. When her time at Kansas State University came to an end, she moved to California to work again in the large & small animal practice. Dr. Huston moved to the Coachella Valley 2 years ago, and now works with us here at Desert Dunes Animal Hospital in general small animal practice. Dr. Huston enjoys music, walks with her dog, reading, and her passion is showing her horse on the California Hunter/Jumper Circuit.
Dr. Tim Connor, D.V.M.
Veterinarian
Dr. Connor attended Iowa State University from 1967 to 1970. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1974. Dr. Connor practiced in small and large animals in northern Illinois with his father and uncle who were both veterinarians. Dr. Connor came to California in 1995 and practiced veterinary medicine at the Southern California racetracks through 2008. Dr. Connor and his wife, Kathy, have four children and are both avid golfers.
