BATH & TIDY APPOINTMENTS: Are your pet’s nails too long, has your pet been scooting their back end on the floor? Does fluffy need a bath? These are all types of appointments that can be done in our Bath & Tidy Department. A current exam is required. Please call to schedule an appointment and your pet will be totally pampered during their visit (760) 345-8227.
The doctors at Desert Dunes have updated vaccine requirements recently to include Canine Influenza as an annual vaccine. Starting October 1st, 2018, it will be mandatory for all dogs using our boarding or bathing facilities to be completely vaccinated. If your pet has a current annual examination, you can come in without an appointment at any time to have the first vaccine started. The 2nd booster (second Influenza) is 3 weeks after the initial Influenza Vaccine. It takes 6 weeks to be completely vaccinated for the series of Canine Influenza so please plan accordingly.

Unless your pet is scooting, licking or has a bad anal gland smell it is best not to express the internal anal glands. For this reason, it is not medically recommended in our Bath Express. If you would like the anal glands expressed, you may choose to add on the Silver Paw which also includes teeth brushing and scented spritz.
